*** Hurricane Support
Sweet Apple Elementary has connected with a teacher in Texas impacted by Hurricane Harvey. We have adopted the Pre-K class of Ms. Erin Duff at Colbert Elementary School. When some of our SAE staff members first spoke with Ms. Duff, her love for her students was clear when she mentioned their personal needs before discussing the loss of items in her own classroom. Because her students have lost so much at home and school we asked her to make an Amazon Registry so our staff and community can help with those needs. Items will ship directly to her school from the registry in the link below.

Interact Club: School Supply Drive for Hurricane Harvey! The Interact Club’s first initiative of the year is collecting school supplies for the children and teachers who have been displaced by Hurricane Harvey. Please join us in making it a huge success by dropping off a few supplies in the collection boxes located in the atrium and near the front desk. Think basic classroom lists: notebooks, pens, folders, flash drives, highlighters, post its, etc. The collection will run through October 13 and the club will sort through the supplies and ship them out the week of October 16. The kids are super excited to help and cannot wait to see how many they collect. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
