I hope you all had a restful Spring Break and were able to enjoy time with your families! I had a wonderful time visiting with family, hiking in the mountains, and visiting Callaway Gardens.
PBIS Reward: Our next PBIS reward is Friday, April 19th, and students need 30 points to participate. We are going to have a “Spring Swap” and students will go from classroom to classroom and collect small items, much like the trick-or-treating we did in October. Our class has been asked to provide spring erasers for this activity. Please look for a sign up to donate from our Room Mom.
Important!!!! No Visitors in the Building beginning next week: Georgia Milestones Testing for grades 3-5 begins next week. While students are testing, there are no outside visitors allowed in the building during school hours. This includes lunch visitors, mystery readers, and copy helpers. Milestones testing will occur from April 15th-25th and May 6th-14th. Please refrain from coming to school for lunch during the testing dates.
Cereal Boxes: Thank you to those of you who sent in cereal boxes. We still need more so please send in one (or extra) to ensure that everyone can create a box for the Fiction Books they have been writing.
Math: If your child stays with me for math, we will have a math assessment on Friday, April 19th. A study guide was sent home on Friday in your child’s folder. The study guide is yours to keep and does not need to be returned to school.
Library Books Due: All library books are due in the media center by Friday, April 26th.
